Review - SentrySafe H2300 0.36 Cubic Foot Fire-Safe Waterproof Chest, Silver Gray

Great size, holds quite a lot, decent price.

We bought this safe mainly to protect important documents (birth certificates, social security cards, etc.) in the event of a fire. Bonus: it has a lock to help deter thieves.

I love that the inside is big enough to hold legal-sized documents without folding them. It's deep enough to hold a good-sized bundle of papers, as well as CDs, DVDs, memory sticks, external hard drive...even jewelry!

The safe is heavy, so it's not meant to be carted around everywhere. We found a little corner in which to store ours. It comes with 2 keys, which is great for those of us who tend to misplace things. :)

It takes a little bit of practice to get the lid to open (tip: make sure it's unlocked, then use one hand to push down on the top of the lid while the other hand pushes up on the red latch.)

Overall, it seems to be a good investment! Hopefully we never have a fire to put it to the test, but it does give me some peace of mind.

Review - Star Wars Fighter Pods Rampage Figure 16 Pack

Great price; awesome figures!

I bought these to use as decorations for my son's birthday cake. He was thrilled! It made for a very easy, fun cake. He's been collecting Fighter Pods and loved being able to play with them after his party.

Review - Teva Women's Tirra Athletic Sandal Black/Grey

My new favorite sandals! Absolutely LOVE them!

I bought these for a trip to Europe. They arrived about a week before we left and I was expecting to have to wear them for a few days to break them in. To my surprise, I tried them on, they fit perfectly, and they were extremely comfortable from the get-go!

I've been wearing them almost daily for the past month and a half, and they still look brand new!

The velcro straps are great for getting a perfect fit (good if you have long, narrow feet like I do), colors are wonderful, they feel fantastic, and they wash up well.

I'd been using a different type of Teva for the past few years and thought I'd try something new. I'm so glad I did!

I'll be buying a back-up pair of these!

Review - Levana Oma Clip-On Portable Baby Movement Monitor with Audible Alarm, White/Orange

Works great; love the piece of mind it gives to this paranoid mama!

We've been using this almost nightly for the past month and LOVE it! Our 1-year-old is in a co-sleeper, transitioning to a crib, and this works great for her. We attach it to her diaper and then swaddle her and put her to sleep. So far, no false alarms (like we occasionally had with the Snuza Go!) and I'm able to relax and sleep at night.

The directions are fairly simple. The monitor is lightweight and the tip that touches their skin is nice and soft. The whole thing is easy to wipe clean with a gentle cloth. The batteries have lasted quite awhile already, and the green blinking light (to let you know when they take a breath) is nice and bright.

Would definitely purchase again!

Book Review - Oh, The Places You'll Go!

A classic! I love the rhyming, drawings, and especially the uplifting message.

One of my friends told me about a cute idea: ask all of your child's teachers to sign it (in secret) and present it to your child when they graduate. LOVE this idea, so I bought 2. One for each of my school-aged children.

Their teachers have been really sweet about signing it, and I love reading the kind things they're saying about my children. I'm excited to present the books to my kiddos in the future!

Review - CABEAU Best Inflatable Air Evolution Travel Pillow

This is a fantastic travel pillow!

I bought it for a trip this spring (total of 8 flights) and it was awesome! Inflates/deflates easily. Holds air well. Cover is nice and soft (and I love that it's washable).

It folds up quite small, which made it easy to stash in my backpack. The support sides make a huge difference! I've never been able to get comfortable with other neck pillows, but this one is IT!
