Our family participated in the Kids 1K Fun Run today and had a blast! Our boys, enjoyed running at their own pace, our oldest daughter had fun running and sitting on Daddy's shoulders, and I loved pushing our baby in the stroller.
The crowd at the finish line was fantastic! Our kids loved all the cheering. They were thrilled with their medals (all the kids who finished received a medal!) and thought it was so cool that they had marathon shirts and bib numbers.
It was a memorable experience for us; one that we'll definitely do again next year!

PS - Utah Valley Marathons, maybe next year you could ask the bounce houses to stay up a bit longer? We got to that area about 12:15pm and they'd all been taken down. Our kiddos were sad they didn't get to play in the bounce houses.
Also, the Clif bars and Jamba Juices were yummy for the rest of us, but one of our kiddos is allergic to tree nuts and mangoes. If possible, a few more allergy-free treats would be great. :)
